Full Service Interior Design
With this service, CHDS guides you through each stage of the design process from start to finish. Beginning with initial design conception, which includes 2D renderings, CHDS then moves on to collaborating with the client on finish and fixture selections, creating a Finish Schedule for contractors. Sourcing and procurement of selections by CHDS closely follows and the project wraps with CHDS providing meticulous Construction Administration, working alongside trusted contractors to ensure integrity through the design/build process. Many clients undergoing whole home remodels will utilize this service, however we also provide it for standalone projects, such as a kitchen or bath remodel.
This service is provided on an hourly basis. Full Service Interior Design is typically 10% of an overall project budget.
Design Consultation
During a consultation, CHDS explores your needs, preferences, and vision before providing suggestions and ideas for creating a cohesive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space. This service often begins as a precursor to Full Service Interior Design, but can also stand alone if you are merely seeking design direction.

Space Planning
CHDS specializes in providing creative solutions through space planning, which is the process of strategically organizing a space to maximize its functionality, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. It is a key—and sadly often overlooked—part of any renovation or new build.

Finish & Fixture Selection
Once a spatial layout has been determined, the exciting process of selecting finish and fixtures begins! Finishes include elements like paint, flooring, and countertops, while fixtures include lighting, plumbing, and accessories. CHDS works in collaboration with clients to select a combination of finishes and fixtures that showcases their personal aesthetic, while creating cohesion between spaces. CHDS is also able to coordinate ordering of finish and fixture selections.

Furniture Selection
Whether it’s a standalone service or a space planning services add-on, furniture selection begins with CHDS providing recommendations on a set of agreed-upon furnishings. The service can continue on through sample ordering and/or coordinating visits to local vendors, where possible. CHDS is also able to coordinate ordering of all furniture selections.

Accessible Design
CHDS is committed to creating spaces that are safe, comfortable, and functional for clients who choose to age gracefully in place or currently live with a mobility, visual, and/or auditory impairment. The primary objective of accessible design is to ensure clients can access and use their space effectively and independently.

Patio & Pool Design
This exterior design service takes the services listed above and moves them to the outdoors. From the structural design of a patio addition with 2D renderings to the selection of pool tile, coping, and plaster, CHDS can provide vision and cohesion for a new or refreshed outdoor space.
